memejr1949’s Photos – Another outstanding professional photographer who’s taken no end of shots both street scene as well as portraits around the faire.
Midlan2008’s Photos – includes lots of pre-faire and after-hours photos.
They’re not in a set, but just at the current head of his photostream, but A_Cherished_Memory over at flickr has these photos that are probably some of the best singular photos we’ve come across. Click here to check out his shots.
MO: White Hart Renaissance Faire 2008
December 13, 2008
Set in the middle of a magical oak forest, one might almost believe that the sighting of the majestic white stag of legend could be just out of sight in our rustic village. For today we are privileged to host the Progress of Her Most Glorious Majesty, Elizabeth I who comes to visit the village of Hartgrove where she maintains her favorite personal deer park.
CA: Dickens Faire, 2nd Weekend
December 10, 2008
With the heat under control (the opening weekend had been ungodly warm inside the Faire), and everyone hitting their stride, the photographers did the same. With more street scenes and more dancing captured everywhere. It never ceases to amaze us how many wonderful and amazing ballgowns and day dresses appear week after week.

TN: Tennessee Renaissance Festival 2008
December 10, 2008
TN Faire has been blessed with an expecially gifted photographer who’s been attending for a number of years. Chip Talbert’s photos have been gracing the faire for years and we can recommend him highly enough, especially for cast photos. His site is now over at FablePhotography.com and has a range of great stuff beyond just the Faire.

CA – The Valhalla Renaissance Faire
November 17, 2008
The Valhalla Renaissance Faire in South Lake Tahoe, CA is one of the year’s most looked forward to Faire in Northern California. Spanning two weekends and set in one of the most beautiful settings anywhere, it’s become a staple for the last decade and a half.

CA – The Golden Gate Renaissance Faire
November 17, 2008
Renaissance Productions celebrated their 6th annual Golden Gate Renaissance Faire in San Francisco’s own Golden Gate Park in mid August. The date adjustment to their regular end-of-August calendar sure didn’t seem to slow down the fun or the crowds. While it was one of the chilliest and foggiest faires there yet to date, the 8,000+ attendees didn’t seem to mind in the least. More photos keep rolling in all the time for this perennial favorite.
For all the times that harsh sun and shadows from trees mess up photos, this one’s idea since with the heavy fog, it’s rather like having fill light coming in from all directions.
Without further delay, here’s the photos:

CA – Willits Scottish Renaissance Faire
November 17, 2008
Rusty Sword Productions had another great time at the end of July with their 3rd Willits Renaissance Faire (the 10th annual if you count the original 7 year run which ended in 2001).
The several thousand attendees over the weekend had a great time and here’s some new galleries to prove it.

CA – St. Andrew’s Guild Winter’s Feast
November 16, 2008
Each Winter, the California guild of St. Andrews (the Scottish Court) holds it’s annual Winter’s Feast. This year was it’s first time to be held in Livermore, and whle it’s acoustics for the speeches left a bit to be desired, it was spacious and comfortable for the attendees, and the band that played during the evening (Cluann’s Hounds) was a blast.
